If you are interested in working with me on your project and would like to receive a quote, please contact me using the email address below. I aim to respond to all emails within 24 hours.
In your email, please provide the following:
- A brief overview of your project (type, genre/subject matter, intended audience, etc.).
- The page count and total word count.
- Whether you require proofreading or proof-editing – or, perhaps, are unsure which.
- Your preferred markup format (on PDF using commenting tools, on PDF or paper using BSI symbols, or in a word processing programme, such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs or Pages, using tracked changes). If you are unsure or unfamiliar with these, just let me know, and I will be happy to advise.
- Whether or not any previous editing has been carried out on the text (line-editing, copy-editing, etc.).
- Your preferred start date for the work.
- Your deadline for the completion.
Additionally, it would be helpful to supply a page sample from the project, preferably from the middle of the text, in order for me to properly assess the level of intervention needed and to provide an accurate quote.
